Welcome to Episode 419. This week we travel to Washington to learn the dangers of alternative medicine. For fiction, we have one tale for you that questions whether a helping hand is always a friend, too.
Coming Up Welcome to Washington: 00:01:06 Timothy Mudie’s Rat’s Alley as read by Matt Bradford: 00:16:07
Terrific story that hits all the right notes. Though I’m not a big fan of horror / fantasy stories, this one caught & kept my attention to the very end. It seemed at first an untenable storyline. Or maybe predictable. But the matter-of-fact emergence of Norway (clever name) allowed the stories themes of heroism and hesitation emerge more quickly and forcefully. Was Norway “real” or imagined? It ultimately didn’t matter, since Dean saw him and recognized what he meant. Quite an achievement. Kudos to Mr. Mudie
