  1. I’ve never commented before but I figured no better time than now. I would just like to say I am so thankful for Tales to Terrify, and to you Mr. Santoro. Each time I fire up a new episode and your warm and peaceful yet mysteriously magical voice ventures it’s way into my ears I feel a warm and comfortable feeling deep inside. And I know another great tale will soon be on it’s way.
As for this tale. I’ve been into HPL for quite a while but still never delved into this tale which many consider to be his best. Here we go!

  2. Glad you’re enjoying our evenings together J.T. Hope you enjoy stopping by the Mountains of Madness.

  3. One of these days I’ll get the hang of this.

By they way,a hearty welcome to the 12th Doctor (or 13th in you count Peter Cushing in the two early Doctor Who films), Peter Capaldi. Ironically, in “Wold War Z,” Mr. Capaldi played a W.H.O. Doctor.

  4. I didn’t like much ‘At the Mountains of Madness’ when I first read it about thirty odd years ago, This podcast had thoroughly converted me. Bob’s narration is something else indeed. I love the consistency of Lovecraft’s vision, which is to the point of obsession. Like you, I first got into him with ‘The Colour out of Time’ (though, being English, didn’t worry about that rogue ‘u’, which us over here added in the early part of the nineteenth century. You stayed true to proper English!); I was about eighteen though. It would have scared me shitless at twelve!

  5. Just love the site. I do a lot of night work and I listen to this all the time. Thanks everyone
